79. An-Naziat

The surah that opens with the oath of the Divine One swearing by The Wresters, the angelic pullers, who shall harshly wrest out the souls of the unbelievers at their appointed time of death. It takes its name from "the wresters" (al-nāziʿāt) mentioned in verse 1. The main theme of the surah is the possibility and inevitability of the Resurrection, its results, and its timing. The story of Moses and Pharaoh acts as encouragement to the Prophet and a warning to the disbelievers.
The surah is also known as: (Soul-)Snatchers, Extractors, The Angelic Pullers, The Forceful Chargers, The Pluckers, The Soul-Snatchers, Those That Rise, Those Who Pull and Withdraw, Those Who Tear Out.

AN-NAZI'AAT


يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الرَّاجِفَةُ ﴿٦﴾
٦ - (کہ وہ دن آ کر رہے گا) جس دن زمین کو بھونچال آئے گا .
[79:6] On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation],
[Transliteration] Yawma tarjufur raajifa

تَتْبَعُهَا الرَّادِفَةُ ﴿٧﴾
٧ - پھر اس کے پیچھے اور (بھونچال) آئے گا .
[79:7] There will follow it the subsequent [one].
[Transliteration] Tatba'u har raadifa

قُلُوبٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاجِفَةٌ ﴿٨﴾
٨ - اس دن (لوگوں) کے دل خائف ہو رہے ہوں گے .
[79:8] Hearts, that Day, will tremble,
[Transliteration] Quloobuny-yau maaiziw-waaji-fa

أَبْصَارُهَا خَاشِعَةٌ ﴿٩﴾
٩ - اور آنکھیں جھکی ہوئی .
[79:9] Their eyes humbled.
[Transliteration] Absaa ruhaa khashi'ah

يَقُولُونَ أَإِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِي الْحَافِرَةِ ﴿١٠﴾
١٠ - (کافر) کہتے ہیں کیا ہم الٹے پاؤں پھر لوٹ جائیں گے .
[79:10] They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]?
[Transliteration] Ya qoo loona a-inna lamar doo doona fil haafirah

أَإِذَا كُنَّا عِظَامًا نَخِرَةً ﴿١١﴾
١١ - بھلا جب ہم کھوکھلی ہڈیاں ہو جائیں گے (تو پھر زندہ کئے جائیں گے) .
[79:11] Even if we should be decayed bones?
[Transliteration] Aizaa kunna 'izaa man-nakhirah

قَالُوا تِلْكَ إِذًا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌ ﴿١٢﴾
١٢ - کہتے ہیں کہ یہ لوٹنا تو( موجب) زیاں ہے .
[79:12] They say, "That, then, would be a losing return."
[Transliteration] Qaalu tilka izan karratun khaasirah.

فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ ﴿١٣﴾
١٣ - وہ تو صرف ایک ڈانٹ ہوگی .
[79:13] Indeed, it will be but one shout,
[Transliteration] Fa inna ma hiya zajratuw-waahida

فَإِذَا هُمْ بِالسَّاهِرَةِ ﴿١٤﴾
١٤ - اس وقت وہ (سب) میدان (حشر) میں آ جمع ہوں گے .
[79:14] And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface.
[Transliteration] Faizaa hum biss saahirah
